For the first time in nearly 50 years, National Tractor Pullers Association competition is returning to Evansville.
The Busch Light Pulling Nationals will take over the Vanderburgh County 4-H Center May 28–30, 2026, serving as the kickoff to the 2026 NTPA Grand National season. The three-day event is expected to bring top competitors, powerful machines, and thousands of fans to the Tri-State for a weekend rooted in horsepower, tradition, and high-energy entertainment.
Presented by Full Pull Entertainment, the event will feature premier NTPA Grand National competition alongside leading regional organizations, including the Ohio Valley Tractor Pullers Association and Indiana Pulling League. Fans can expect a full lineup of elite divisions, including Unlimited Modified Tractors, Pro Stock Tractors, Super Stock Diesel Tractors, Modified Mini Rods, and Super Stock Diesel 4WD Trucks.
According to the NTPA, this will be the first Grand National-level event held in Evansville in nearly five decades, making its return a significant moment for the region’s motorsports community.
The Vanderburgh County 4-H Center provides a fitting backdrop for the event, with 200 acres, a grandstand arena, and on-site camping accommodations that help create a full weekend experience for fans traveling from across the country.
“This is another exciting opportunity to showcase Evansville as a destination capable of hosting major regional and national events,” said Aaron King, Director of Sports Development for Explore Evansville. “The Busch Light Pulling Nationals will not only bring tremendous energy to the community, but also generate meaningful economic impact for our hotels, restaurants, and local businesses.”
With thousands of fans expected over the weekend, the Busch Light Pulling Nationals adds another major event to Evansville’s sports and entertainment calendar while bringing national attention to Vanderburgh County.
