A fresh dining experience is taking shape in the heart of downtown Evansville.
The Foundry Room, a brand-new restaurant concept, is currently under construction inside the DoubleTree by Hilton Evansville and is expected to open in early April. The hotel first opened in February 2017 alongside its original restaurant, Stone City Grill. Now, that space is being completely reimagined with a new name, new design, and a new culinary direction.
The Foundry Room will feature a full interior remodel and a refreshed atmosphere designed to reflect the continued growth and energy of downtown Evansville. While menu details are still forthcoming, the concept promises an elevated and inspired approach to dining that aligns with the evolving expectations of both visitors and local guests.
For travelers choosing to stay in the center of it all, strong on-site dining matters. As Evansville continues to attract meetings, sporting events, and leisure visitors, refreshed spaces like The Foundry Room help meet guests where they are — delivering quality, convenience, and a sense of place under one roof. During the transition, guests can continue to enjoy select Stone City Grill menu items at Quarry Bar inside the hotel.
The project is being developed by HCW, with design and construction led by regional and local partners.
